NTPC Korba, on 27 May 2023, welcomed Shri A.K. Tripathy, Regional Executive Director, WR-II & OS. Visit to the plant, project review, and interaction with the GEM participants were some of the main elements in the itinerary of the visit by the RED.

Following a hearty welcome by Shri B.R. Rao, Business Unit Head, NTPC Korba, Shri A.K. Tripathy headed towards the Kaveri Bhawan Guest House (KBGH) for the laying of the foundation stone for Annexie Complex at (KBGH). A small puja and Bhumi Pujan were headed by Shri Tripathy on this auspicious occasion.

This was followed by a trip to Employee Development Centre (EDC), NTPC Korba Township, where he interacted with the participants of the Girl Empowerment Mission 2023. After spending time amongst the pure innocent smiles of the girls participating in the GEM program organized by NTPC Korba, Shri Tripathy headed towards Service Building Stage 3 along with other General Managers and Senior Executives.

From there, Shri A.K. Tripathy headed for the 480th ORT at Korba. An extensive exchange of information, ideas, and direction is what defined the 480th ORT Meeting wherein, prize distribution on various categories also took place in all its glory.

To commemorate his stint with NTPC Limited of more than 36 years and even serving NTPC Korba as a Business Unit Head, Shri A.K. Tripathy was felicitated by NTPC Korba followed by a cultural program at Ambedkar Bhawan, NTPC Korba Township.

On 28 May 2023, Shri Tripathy capped the day at Silver Jubilee Park, planting trees and saplings for a sustainable environment.
